Left-leaning presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders just got a very prominent supporter from the world of tech and business: Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.

The Woz, who co-founded Apple with Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne in 1976, announced on Twitter that he was supporting the insurgent Democratic candidate:

Sanders, it should be noted, is running as a Democrat, but has throughout his career run in Vermont as an independent and identified as a Socialist.

Wozniak has frequently identified with left-wing politics, according to the Huffington Post. He recently said he was a “civil rights believer” who wanted to push for privacy and human rights.
