The group has the charm and energy of adorable kids and they will band together to explore and learn various things in a suburban backyard setting. They are also expected to deal with challenges and get into trouble at times. The show will feature songs by many famous artists in history as a means of sharing encouraging and melodious stories.

Deadline also wrote that a number of popular hits by The Beatles will be included in the narrative of every episode. Vedder, Sia, James Bay, Spektor, Birdy, Chris Cornell, Corden and other artists will record their own rendition of a song by the band. The tunes will come from the Lennon/McCartney Northern Songs catalog in telling the warm tales. Viewers can expect songs like “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds,” “Penny Lane,” “Come Together,” “All You Need Is Love,” “Help!,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” and “Yellow Submarine” throughout the series.

“It’s a rare occasion to be presented with a truly one-of-a-kind children’s show that is so perfectly suited to Netflix. Josh and his team have not only developed a compelling children’s show filled with life lessons, but they’ve built a show that will transcend generations and have parents and grandparents enjoying right alongside their little ones,” said Andy Yeatman, director of original kids content at Netflix, in a report by Rolling Stone.

“Beat Bugs” is represented by Beyond Distribution and is set to launch on Netflix in Australia after it premieres on Seven Network.
